Unsurprisingly, NSYNC supplies the soundtrack for this slot. Once it loads and the first note sounds, you’re drawn into a world dominated by bright lights and high energy.

The biggest symbol is the Wild, which shows all of the band members inside a gleaming silver border. It awards payouts of up to 20x when 5 appear on the same payline, and it substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. The individual band members come next in the payout stakes, with Justin Timberlake awarding the most followed by JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick.

The other four symbols consist of a Purple Spade, Red Heart, Green Diamond, and Blue Club. The “win ways” system in this game means that a payout is triggered whenever there are connecting symbols on the first three reels. So, if Justin appears on the first, second, and third reels, it’s a win; if he’s on the first, second, and fourth reels, it’s not.

As generous as these symbols are, they are not the highlight of this slot.

The titular POP feature draws most of the focus for the game and will even take your attention away from the famous fivesome.

POP symbols can appear on any spin, and when they land, they reveal matching symbols of any type (except for the Scatter). The feature is also active during the Free Spins, and this is when it really comes into its own.

Trigger the Free Spins by revealing three of the Scatters, represented by the NSYNC logo. The POP Symbols will then reveal other POPs above or below. In doing so, it expands the reels, and this is how the game reaches its maximum paylines of 2,400.

That’s not all, either.

The POP symbols also trigger Sticky Wilds and these lock onto the reels for the duration of the feature.
