Def Leppard: Hysteria is played against a 5×7 grid, an unusual shape that helps to set this slot apart right from the first spin. It doesn’t have any traditional paylines and instead uses a Cluster Pays system combined with Cascading Wins.

Sound complicated? Well, it’s actually pretty simple. Just think of it as a slot version of your favorite candy-based puzzle game. When 5 or more symbols land in a connecting cluster, a payout is triggered, and all of those winnings symbols are removed from the reels. The symbols above then drop down and new ones fall into the reels.

If there is another win, the process will repeat, and it can continue in this manner until those wins stop appearing.

Sugar Me Sweet:

On any non-winning spin, this feature can trigger. It chooses between 6 and 9 symbols and instantly transforms them into the symbol shown on the Charge Meter. If it fills up, the aforementioned Fire Me Up triggers.

Pour Some Sugar on Me:

When a win appears in an indicated reel position, one of the letters in SUGAR will activate. Trigger all of those letters to unlock 5 free spins. The Charge Meter remains active during these spins, but the Wilds turn into Dropping Multiplier Wilds, whereby they descend with every cascade and offer a multiplier of up to 7x.

The main goal of the game is to fill the Charge Meter, and you do this by chaining together as many wins as you can. As long as those symbols keep cascading, the wins will roll in and the above features will follow.
